About Tremell
Tremell has been a dedicated resident of New Britain throughout his life, currently juggling the roles of a devoted husband, father, Chairman of the Republican Town Committee, and fire commissioner. Proud of his American roots, Tremell has always felt a deep sense of gratitude towards the community that has shaped him.
His commitment to giving back is evident in his various roles, including serving as a former member of the board of directors for HRA of New Britain, acting as a civilian advisor for the New Britain Police Explorers, and organizing community clean-up initiatives. In 2015, Tremell was elected to the city council, where he played a pivotal role in facilitating downtown redevelopment. This included revitalizing the business district, enhancing streetscapes, and making strategic investments in the city’s infrastructure.
Tremell’s extensive history of service to the people of New Britain positions him as a strong candidate for the role of State Senator. If elected, he is determined to represent his hometown, as well as Berlin and Farmington, with accessibility and accountability at the forefront of his approach. Tremell advocates for an affordable state, supports public safety, and is committed to creating a business-friendly environment.
In addition, Tremell is dedicated to finding solutions to lower the tax burden on residents, safeguarding second amendment rights, and investing in the education system. Unafraid to confront challenging issues head-on, he is a proven advocate for addressing the state’s pressing concerns, even when it may not align with popular opinion.
Beyond his political endeavors, Tremell is passionate about inspiring others, particularly the youth, to develop confidence and leadership qualities. He encourages individuals to contribute to their communities, mirroring his own commitment to community service.
